This is the Strike Industries Advanced Receiver Extension which brings an updated aesthetic and increased functionality to an often neglected, yet highly important component of the AR15/AR10 weapon system. What we have here is a durable and lightweight buffer tube with the tightest fitment you'll ever have with any butt stock on the market.
What helps achieve this are the scalloped surfaces as they decrease friction with tighter fitting stocks which also provides weight savings while retaining mass in critically stressed areas.
